As always budget vs time spent is a balancing act – but within a day the paintwork was fully decontaminated via chemical removal and a clay bar routine before moving on to tackle the light swirls which were all too apparent.
A single stage machine correction to most panels with 2 stage and more time spent on the bonnet area. The whole process was finished off with a layer of our ceramic infused sealant giving at least 18 months “real life” protection.
This wasn’t full correction! We keep things realistic here at The Gleaming Car Co. instead preferring to fit a process to our customers budget, expectations and what each car would benefit most from – flexibility being the key, rather than set detailing options. If you have a daily driver then a full day’s detail can often offer a 80% plus improvement to the overall presentation of your car. Paint correction takes time to do professionally so a single stage is often the best value for money to fit into a day vs a full correction perhaps 3 stage correction which typically would be 2 if not 3 days – i.e at least twice/three times the hours and cost for perhaps that last 20% improvement.
