The graphene content provides a stronger covalent bond to the paintwork offering greater stability of product and high tensile strength.
So Why After All These Years Have We Done This?
The Gleaming Car Co has been applying ceramic coatings for more years than I can remember. We initially were an authorised detailer for Kenotek and in the last couple of years a Master Installer for IGL Coatings. Absolutely great products to work with and many satisfied customers. However it has always niggled me that to be an “authorised detailer”, “master installer”, “accredited detailer” and any other grand sounding title, you often have to not only pay for the privilege of using the product, but are often dictated to as to signage, logo use, social media posts and minimum monthly product purchase.
This all seems really a strange way to do business. Why do I have to pay for that privilege and be dictated as to how I run my business?
“Because people make bookings based on the product I use?” I hear you ask. Well NO, my customers trust me and buy from me based on that trust and my knowledge and over 16 years of experience. I have only ever had 1 customer phone and ask specifically for a brand of ceramic coating. All I have been doing is being taken for a bit of a mug really, because it is me that is promoting their brand for them! They should be paying me in my opinion…….but this trade is skewed like that.
I don’t need the “authorised” or “accredited” title – I am too old and wise to be excited and proud of such things – but it seems to be the way this industry has worked for years.
So it makes perfect sense to me to shake things up a little and promote my brand – not someone else’s!

I have specifically chosen a coating makeup that has the ability to cure enough prior to any water contact in 2-4hrs. This opens the door to have your car ceramic coated at your home in dry weather or if you have a suitable garage then I am equipped with all the necessary mobile lighting.

£490.00* for my Ceramic Graphene Detail which includes a single stage enhancement and paint cleanse prior to coating. You get the wheel outers coated with The Gleaming Car Ceramic Wheel coating and the glass coated too.
For this level of product we think that’s pretty competitive! Still – when the product doesn’t come from a far off land by plane or sea, hasn’t got a distributor profit margin or any fancy packaging – it seems only right to pass these savings on.
